After the First World War and with lack of metals such as copper or nickel employed in the war effort, many citizens treasure the silver coins, and therefore there is a great lack of current. Given this circumstance, many municipalities, chambers of commerce or even businesses, emit currency of need in metals such as aluminum or zinc.
