Description

The Jorezmita empire arises as a vassal state of the Selyúcidas Turks and the Qara Khitai, of Turkish-Mameluco origin. They become independent towards the year 1190 A.D. defeating the Selyuces and Ghorids, and forming one of the greatest empires that have been. They also threatened the abasic caliphate, until the Caliph accepted its power in Central Asia towards 1200. In 1219, after the killing of a game of Mongols merchants and diplomats, Genghis Khan begins revenge by looting several cities and in just two years the Jorgemite empire conquers. Many Jorezmitas continued in later years as mercenaries, conquering for example the Jerusalem crossed in 1244.
