The Timuridas were a dynasty that ruled in Central Asia and parts of Persia and India from the fourteenth century until the 16th century. His story is closely related to its founder, Tamerlán (also known as Timur), a powerful military and conqueror leader. Tamerlán, of Turkish-Mongol origin, established the Timurid Empire at the end of the fourteenth century after a series of military conquests in the Central Asia region. His empire extended from the current Uzbekistan to Persia, Afghanistan, Iraq and much of Central Asia.
