Description

Historically part of the Septimania, in 1172 it joins the Crown of Aragon. In 1379 his study is endorsed as a university by the Pope. In the historical confrontation between Aragon and France for the control of the Western Mediterranean, Perpiñan will alternately go through the control of both kingdoms.
