Description

After the First World War and with lack of metals such as copper or nickel employed in the war effort, many citizens treasure the silver coins, and therefore there is a great lack of current. Given this circumstance, many municipalities, chambers of commerce or even businesses, emit currency of need in metals such as aluminum or zinc. Little by little it is returning to normal with the issuance of francs known as “Chambers of Commerce”, and these pieces cease to be necessary. The “official” coinages of municipalities or chambers of commerce will be in aluminum or zinc, but those of shops will normally be-timbre, backed by the seal they carry. In 1931 these emissions end
