Description

The military occupation of Germany began with the penetration of the territory in 1944, but once the war ended in May, with the June 1945 state (ACC). August”s postdam agreement would already mark a separation between Eastern Germany under Soviet control, and the other three areas under French, British and American control. In fact, first the British and American areas merged into what the Bizona was called on January 1, 1947, incorporating shortly after the French zone. As far as monetary policy is concerned, the areas did not agree, and each issued its own tickets. If currencies were issued, with the added purpose of desnazification, eliminating the swastika of the designs. If France”s initial purpose was the dismemberment of Germany, British and Americans if they wanted to contain the Soviet Union that had immediately begun to transform its area into a communist satellite state. The events of 1948 with the Soviet control in Czechoslovakia and the abandonment of the ACC by Soviet, reconsider the situation by France that was already totally willing to strengthen Germany. In May 1948, the USSR leaves the ACC, the Germans launch on June 20, 1948 (on Sunday to avoid allied blocking to the decree), the German frame, and this fact will be the trigger for the Soviet block of Berlin, and the Creation of the German framework of Eastern Germany. The following year the two Germans were formed.
