Description

In Yalta before the end of the war, Germany”s division had already been agreed in control areas of the United Kingdom, USSR and the US, which was later confirmed in Postdam. The same would be done with Berlin. In May 1949, the British, French and American control areas joined the German Federal Republic with temporary capital in Bonn. In response, the Soviet part would form the German Democratic Republic in October of the same year. The German Democratic Republic would be a satellite state of the USSR with Russian troops in its territory until the 1990s. Within the countries of the Eastern bloc, Germany would be the most developed economy, functioning as the other countries of the block with a planned economy of socialist court. The main problem he had to face was the continuous drip of professionals trained to West Germany, which is why the country”s exit was prohibited, and the Berlin wall was created. With the fall of the wall in November 1989, the end of the German Democratic Republic and its integration into the German Federal Republic was agreed the following year. The coinage of the period were in Marcos of East Germany, which were divided into 100 PFENNIG. The creation of the West German framework (partly by the inflation produced by the false tickets introduced by the Soviets), made a monetary reform with new tickets, which was done in June 1948. This in turn caused inflation in the Eastern part, as the obsolete tickets in Rentenmark and Reichsmark flowed to the eastern zone for their change. This was resolved with seals that accredited the origin.
