Description
In 1763 in the Treaty of Paris, France recovers Guadalupe of the British. So profitable was the colony, that France yields Canada in exchange for the return of the island. In addition to sugar, coffee and cocoa were already grown. The French revolution brought chaos to the island, and in full chaos, the United Kingdom invaded the island again, although they were shortly expelled by an expeditionary force that abolished the exclavitude. The first French empire returned slavery to the island, causing a new slave revolt, quickly suffocated. In 1810, the British invaded the island again in the context of the Napoleonic wars.
