Description
After the abolition of the Eastern Indies Company by their debts, the enclaves in India became colonies directly managed by the crown. In the next 50 years, these possessions went from French hands to British, according to wars and peace treaties between the two countries. In 1816, after the Napoleonic wars, the enclaves are returned again to France, and even the union of the colonies with independent India, will not play a relevant role, having fallen their economy in front of thriving centers under British control.
