Description

The Kidritas were a dynasty that controlled Botria and other areas of Central Asia in the fourth and 5th centuries D.C. Subsequently, the heftalitas, Alchon and Nezak passed through the same area. They are mixed with the huns who invaded Europe shortly after, but the possible link is unknown. From 360 A.D. They replace the Kushano-Sasanidas of Botria, and subsequently, between 390 and 410 invade the northwest of India, replacing the Kushan empire in the Punjab. Most information about them comes from the coins. It seems that many little kingdoms survived in northern India, especially in Jammu and Kashmir with emissions of very low gold coins. The Huns Alchon ended up invading these Kidaritas kingdoms, and by 500, we know that this invasion had concluded.
