Description
The Nagas dominated areas of northern India between the twilight of the Kushan and the growth of the Gupta empire. It is not clear because of the evidence available if the different regions were controlled by various branches of a family, or members of a single family. They controlled Padmavati, Vidisha, Kantipuri, and Mathura
