Description
Brach was an important port in Guajat that was under Gujarat”s sultanate with Arab invasions. In 1572 he was annexed by Akbar to the Mughal Empire, and in the 19th century he began receiving attacks from Los Marathha. Between 1736 and 1772 the Nizam were de facto independent of Mughal power. That year he fell under British control, although in 1783 he was ceded to Sindhia (Marathha), to return to the company”s control in 1802 according to the Salbai Treaty between Marathhas and British.
