Description

In 1917, Carranza promulgated the current Mexican Constitution, although violence between the factions would not conclude until the death of Carranza, Zapata and Villa. In 1929 the National Revolutionary Party was founded, germ of the PRI, which would be in power until 2001. After World War II there was significant growth, which showed exhaustion in the late 70s. The 80s were like in other Latin American countries a decade from an economic point of view, in the 90s the first crises were given by globalization, and jump the crisis of Chiapas. With the new millennium, the economy grew linked to the American economy in the framework of NAFTA, and the war against drug trafficking that has left more than one hundred thousand dead in recent years exploded.
