Description

Nigeria obtains the independence of the United Kingdom in 1960 and until 1963 does not conform as a Republic with a Constitution. The transition government brings together both Muslim, Christian and Cameroonian party. Nigeria has been since its creation with continuous tensions for its ethnic and religious diversity, in addition to an endless corruption based on the important wealth of resources in the country. The coinage of this era are the pure continuation of the colonial period, with the maintenance of Isabel II as Queen of Nigera.
